It starts
with one porch
Squash It Up is a new Cincinnati company that does exactly one thing between September and October, and nothing at all for the rest of the year. 2026 is our first season taking bookings — and we would rather tell you that up front than pretend to a history we do not have.

The founder
“I just wanted my own porch to look like that.”
Every autumn I spent an absurd amount of money on pumpkins, arranged them by instinct, and then spent a Saturday in November hauling collapsed squash to the curb. The front half of that — the sourcing, the composition, the strange satisfaction of stacking colour on a set of concrete steps — is what I actually love doing.
So this year I am doing it for other people's porches too. Delivery and the build are included in the price, because hauling and arranging is the part I enjoy and the part you do not. Taking it all away afterwards is the one thing I charge extra for, and it is entirely up to you whether you want it.

How we work
Four rules we started with
The price is the price
Delivery, design and the whole on-site build are inside the number on the package. The only extra is end-of-season removal, and only if you want it.
No invented history
This is our first season and the site says so. We would rather earn the numbers than print ones we have not.
We do the lifting
Bringing the pumpkins and stacking them on your steps is the whole job, and it costs you nothing on top of the package.

This is the part where a company usually shows you testimonials.
We do not have any. Not because nobody liked the work, but because you would be among the first, and inventing quotes from customers who do not exist is not how we want to start. Book with us and you will be talking to the person who loads the truck and builds your display. If it goes well, we would love to put your words here next year.
